I laugh. "Why does everyone fail at sledding? Except for me!" I add onto the end and laugh again.

I raise up a hand while laying in the snow. "I don't fail at sledding," I lie.

I jump up and raise my hand. "OOH! I FAIL AT SLEDDING!!!" I start rolling down the hill.

I walk down the hill to meet Dylan. "You never told me what was up with Amaril before I DIDN'T fail at sledding," I casually smile.

I freak out. "Uh.... um... she said she had the flu." I lie rapidly. "And also her skin is turning orange. But she didn't want me to tell you because.... she just got better. Right, Amaril?"

"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I scream, rolling rapidly in circles.

I lean in and whisper to her, "She saw your fangs. But you were halfway down the hill so she disregarded them. Don't bring it up again..." I shrug. "It was nothing."

My spirits dropped. "Oh," I say while putting my hand over my mouth. I looked to where Amaril was rolling down the hill. She seemed fine enough.

"YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!" I slow to a halt as I crash into Dylan on his inner tube and send him whirling several more yards. "That was fun."

"You look like a snow man. A snow-Amaril." I snort.

I smile more faintly, but it was still a smile none the less. I grab some snow and drop it on Amaril's head. "Now all we need is some coal and a carrot!" I laugh a little halfheartedly.

I just sit at the top of the hill and look out to the snow covered ground, it was beautuiful at this time of day.

"CACTUS!" I roar at her, just sitting there. I grab a snowball and compact it tightly, dip it in a small puddle of water so it turns to ice, and throw it at her as hard as I can. I enjoy doing that. A trick my brothers taught me.
Thinking about my brothers- Dan, Tom, and Rick, It makes me kind of sad. I miss them. Since my Dad and Mom got a divorce and moved away they all moved... well, except for Tom, but he's far too busy studying to be a doctor to care about me anymore. I shake sad thoughts from my head. "You know, if it's gonna snow this early it's gonna be a long winter. We should go buy some snow stuff. My ears are frozen off." I say seriously.

I raise my hand a little. "Doesn't really affect me.... I'm kind of... yeah, immune to temperatures. But I'd be willing to go." I glance at Kayla. "And... er, I'm sure Kayla.... already has snow stuff, right, Kayla?" Geez, I need to stop lying, even if it's for a friend.

"Um...no?" I say. I didn't say that I didn't really need snow stuff, usually these temperatures were more comfortable than the 100 degree summer's we get here. "Yeah, we should get some."

"You coming, Cactus?" I ask, trudging slowly up the hill, the several inches of snow holding me back. Geez, I think. Amaril must've slept most of yesterday. It's nearly morning.

I spring up from my position on the ground. "LET'S GO!" I yell loudly.

That really wouldn't surprise me, I thought as I went back up the hill. Amaril probably could sleep anywhere at anytime. Sometimes it was something to be grateful for, that I didn't need sleep.

I walk up, glad to finally be relaxing instead of just sitting in awkward silence at the mall. Of course, nothing would be the same ever again. But nonetheless, I blew up my inner tube and smiled shyly at them. I pull my shirt down. I didn't have to wear a jacket though, and I was grateful for that because it would just slow me down.

I follow in at the back of everyone else, still a little awkward around Kayla.

"Whoa, I don't think I've been HERE before," I say gasping at the size of the hill.

I run ahead of everyone and go into a summersault down the hill, making a perfect sledding track. My world is a blur of white and the fading colors of the night sky, oranges and reds and yellows all tinted black and blue by the dusk. I slow to a halt on the bottom of the hill and stumble back up to the top, shaking snow out of my hair which I'm grateful I put in a braid. "You can thank me now," I say dramatically.

I laugh at Amaril. "Thanks for... whatever that was about, Amaril." I roll my eyes. Our innertubes are still here on the bottom of the hill. "Whoops. I guess we lost them," I say. They're coated in snow. "Amaril, you should go get those." I tell her.

"Heck no! Make Claudia go get them," I cross my arms defiantly.

I hear my name called. "What?" I say, not really paying attention to what was happening.

"I didn't forget mine," I say while holding it up and smiling weakly.

"Whaaaaaat? I don't have an inner tube," I complain to everyone.

OoC: Hmm. We should have the harpy come back. Only this time, someone else be her since me and serpent were already her. (hint hint WILLOW)

I grab the innertube from Kayla, jump in it, and twist myself down the hill rapidly. "HECK.... YESSS!!!!!!!!" I scream.

"BRING UP THE OTHER INNERTUBE," I scream at Amaril as she spins away. I bet she only caught bits of it.

I fly over slowly in harpy form. From far above I look like a hawk- in fact, I almost am one, descending on them.Watching them and that vampire girl who caused me so much trouble. It may've been a misunderstanding but I own't let go on revenge yet.... especially after they all came and attacked ME for it. I turn into human form a while away and hide in a tree, waiting. Watching.
