I landed on the sandy and barren desert and started digging a small hole with my talons. Since talons can't dig very deep, I went to the forest and flew back with scorched branches. With careful, long work, I finally had constructed a shabby shack. Needs work, I thought, but I could put that off until later.

Smoke flared from my nostrils. I was mad enough to set something on fire, which I really wanted to do to Amaril. If only I was about three feet taller. I huffed my way inside my shack.

I knew she had no clue why I was mad, but my emotions were too irascible to deal with at the moment. I was afraid I would become more cross by going and conferring with her. I sat there and fumed, which reminded me, I had to build a chimney in this shack before I set it on fire.
