I grab the dvd and give it to her, "break it and I break you" I walk over to the kitchen and grab a cookie.

I jerk my hand away, then clasp them together in my lap and sit back in the chair. I don't say anything-I'll let Amaril do that. I doubt she will though.

I stood up too and kinda glared at the wolf kid over Amaril's shoulder. He was very annoying, popping in and out repeatedly.

"Well," I say, heaving myself off the couch and stretching as I stand up. I think those doctors were magic. I feel nearly better. "I'm going to go." I peer out the window, to the edge of the city. "Say... look, someone's moving in. Neighbors! Isn't that swell? Meet and greet time, I'd say." I rush into the kitchen and grab a banana. "I like bananas," I say, examining it. "Good source of potassium. Bananas are good." With that I leave.

I watched Amaril leave, a little sadly. All she'd done was ramble on about Dr. Who and ignore me. I knew she as lying when she said she felt better-physically, maybe, but not emotionally. I kicked out the wolf kid's door in frustration then walked outside to head-anywhere but here.
