A quiet river and a lake

This is just a quiet river connected to the one in the mountains. It leads to a monstrous lake downstream.

I stroll around something, when I smelled something. I heard someone else come in. Quietly peering through the trees, and see.....KAYLA! I let out a low growl. But who was that with her? Something seemed odd about him. Upon closer inspection, I realized that he was a zombie. Hmm...nothing good could come of that. I waited quietly in the bushes and watched them.

I looked around, suddenly feeling the uneasy feeling that we were being watched. "Um...did you notice anyone following us?" I ask.

I nod. "You're right, this is just a silly little vibe. I should just ignore it, I usually am pretty paranoid." I grin at him widely and my white teeth and fangs glittered dully in the sun. The lake sparkled and washed up on the shore in little waves.

Hmm, there was no threat that she'd kill a zombie. I don't care for zombies. But this, could be bad. Could they be plotting something? A world ruled by the undead? Everyone could die. I waited to see if they said anything else.

I fly over and land loudly in a bush. "Hi, Xylia," I say rather loudly. "What goes on?" I shake leaves out of my hair and wings.

I jump back. "NOELLA!" I growl. "I was busy doing something!"

I heard a loud crash in the bushes and shoot my gaze towards where I heard it. "Anyone there?" I ask trying to sound all innocent-like.

"Yup," I say, stepping out of the bushes and brushing debris off of my jean jacket. "That was eventful. It'd hard to fly when a storm is coming," I say seriously, glancing at the cloudy sky.

I just stare at the new person who flew in. Even with leaves in her hair and her feathers molting she's pretty. I sigh in the back of my mind.

I tiptoe into the glade quietly and clumsily scale a tree and whip out my notebook. "A triangle!" I whisper dramatically.

"WELL, there goes my element of surprise," I say while bursting out of the bushes. "Now then, let's get down to business." I say briskly. Then I leap in a flying tackle at Kayla.

I hiss and careen away from Xylia, then stumble and fall down. "Oh gosh," I whisper to myself.

I scream and flap up into teh sky, then watch.

I let out a grunt of shock as something hits my side. It was that zombie kid that Kayla was talking to. "What do you think you're doing!??" I bark at him.

I gather myself and shakily stand up. I flicked the hair out of my face, then ran to the wolf person as fast as my unnatural speed would allow and pull the wolf off of Dylan.

I shake myself then growl. "Well she's a vampire. Nothing good can come of them. And YOU, you're a zombie, and nothing good can come of THEM either," I paw the ground anxiously.

I clench my teeth and show my fangs, trying to seem threatening. "I wasn't HURTING anybody!" I shouted stubbornly.
